Online Whispas

If you were in any doubt about the power of bloggers and online campaigners then look no further than this story:

Due to online pressure the Whispa bar is making a comeback. People have been signing online petitions and starting groups on Facebook (Bluewood is still wondering if it should have a page – suggestions welcome!) to demand that the classic Whispa bar comes back to our shelves. I think this is great, not only did I quite like Whispa bars but if the online community can bring back chocolate bars what can’t we do?
Cadbury’s is probably pretty sensible about keeping an eye on the online forums, partly because of their target audience but also because of their recent crises but this shows that some corporates really do take the online community seriously.
So what next? What else should we bring back? Or perhaps more importantly get rid of?

Start a campaign to bring them back...maybe it will work.

if there was one thing i want back it would be vice-versa's, but i think they were by nestle? also, i would have to stipulate that they return at the '20p introductory price' that they used to be in the corner shop i bought them from on the way home from secondary school.
bearing in mind that it wouldnt strictly be 'introductory', more like 're-introductory', and given the likely inflation rates, im not sure i'll ever see this dream become reality, certainly not at that price anyway. oh well, if anyone's reading this and finds they have a secret stash of vice-versas that maybe they forgot to eat back in the mid to late 90's, gimmie a shout and i'll happily take them off your hands (would they still be worth 20p? would they have INCREASED in price due to their limited edition nature? or would they hav DECREASED in price since they are most likely out of date by now?)

sorry, was this blog supposed to be about bluewood training related stuff?

Not necessarily - we are encouraging an open forum discussion on whatever our contributors are interested in... And of course the great beauty of blogs is that they cannot (or should not) be controlled!

Now, I've just had someone say they'd like to see the return of the Red Boost. Has anyone else actually heard of such a product?!

Red Boost?
RED....BOOST?
i remember boost, and i remember Boost with Gaurauana (or however you spell it) which was supposed to be sum healthy energy boost ingredient (HEALTHY! in a chocolate bar? what a joke)
but gaurauarauna boost was in GREEN packets, not red

unless, where-ever these people come from, they sold Lava-Boost bars, or maybe, Tomato-Boost?

explain yourself.....
